Nare Smbatyan

Nare Smbatyan is the chair of the Scientific and Educational Committee of the Intellectual Property Lawyers of Armenia (AIPR). Nare Smbatyan started her professional activity in 2018. She has worked in both private and public sectors. She was involved in a number of programs, drafting legislation, preparing reports and statements. She specialized in contract and corporate law, IT law, intellectual property, Media Law etc. During her professional career, she provided effective legal assistance in the fields related to entrepreneurial activity, in particular, on current issues related to business, transactions, contractual relations, registration of trademarks, protection of copyrights etc. Nare effectively defended the interests of clients in a number of negotiation processes. Author of a number of analytical and scientific articles. In 2017, the scientific article written by her was recognized as the best scientific article of the year by the French-Armenian Development Foundation. In 2018 she graduated from the Faculty of Law of French University in Armenia obtaining a bachelor's degree. In 2020 she graduated from Yerevan State University, Center for European Studies, the interdisciplinary master's program "European Studies"․ Nare is a member of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia (license number-3236). At the same time, she is currently the head of the corporate team of WISE Law Firm.
