Mariam Ayvazyan

Mariam Ayvazyan is an experienced lawyer and a Ph.D. student with long-term service in the Armenian Parliament, the Ministry of Justice, and international projects. During her work both at the Ministry of the Justice and the Armenian Parliament, she was involved in the drafting of the most pivotal legislative drafts, including Amendments to the Civil Code, Law on the Political Parties, Law on the Constitutional Court, Judicial Code, Amendments to the Law on Copyright and Related Rights. Currently, her primary expertise focus is Media Law, IT Law, and Intellectual Property Law. Mariam is an author of academic articles and co-author of the first Armenian textbook on Media Law. Additionally, as a Fulbright-Hovnaninan Scholar, Mariam holds LLM in IT, IP, and telecommunication Law from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
